  • Wow Keithold! Maybe, but to me that DOES look like civilized human structure/planning. Wow! :D
  • I don't think they have. But I suggest that you check. Just look for Atlantis.
  • check this website:http://news.cnet.com/8301-13577_3-10168269-36.html
  • They did find something ... they are now waiting for some sort of deep sea camera submarine to verify ...
  • I just typed 'Atlantis' on Google Earth. The Globe rotated and came to a stop over the Atlantic Ocean. So 'Atlatis' not yet found - will be the right answer. So forget about the rumors and the information in the link. If Google had found it they would have let us see it - same way they showed us the 'Adams's Bridge'.
  • that is a COOL story
  • The story of Atlantis originates from Greek "mythology"--told by Plato. If such a place existed, it would have been mentioned by other cultures, you would think.
  • That is pretty neat. But there have been quite a few underwater structures (man-made of course) that have been found all over the world. Some look like cities, some look like monuments. So I'm a bit skeptical, but it would be really neat =)
  • I seem to remember hearing about that place several years ago. A diving expedition went down to have a look, got a few glimpses but didn't get far. A second expedition was planned, interrupted by a hurricane, when they finally got down there, they said the hurricane had disturbed the sea floor and covered everything up. I smell fish. ^_^
  • I saw the photo in my newspaper and it looks by the layout like an underwater city.I have seen similar underwater ruins flying over the Zuider Zee Holland but of course they were minute compared to the picture.
  • no, that doesn't look like Atlantis. Google image Atlantis.
  • More likely the tracks left by oil exploration. Though if you consider the amount of land that was covered by water at the end of the last ice age it's not outside reason that we will find quite a few more 'lost' places. Though with the speed that the ice caps are melting and sea levels are rising that might not be true.
