Does anyone know where this commercial was filmed? It shows granite glaciers just a bit through the trees in the background about three times and it really reminds me of Yosemite, but I know they don't have bears there anymore (they haul them all away to less populated woods) and this would have to be a trained "Actor" bear. When I was growing up and we would go camping in Yosemite (circa 1959 through 1965 or so) it was first come, first serve camp grounds and we often arrived late Friday night. I remember many a time my Mother chasing bears out of someones camp site. They were more afraid of us then we were of them. The garbage dump used to be in the valley floor and although it was fenced in, it was some where you could go to see bears rummaging through the garbage for food. They aren't dumb. The last time I remember seeing bears in the valley was about 1983 or there abouts. We also raised our children camping in Yosemite (I mean camping, not RVing) and we saw a cub in a tree near the Merced River and took pictures and moved on since we knew Momma Bear had to be near. I could have never chased one off as my Mom did.
