How airlines decide their pricing & despite of all mathematics involved , why they make loss even though fly with seats full?

Cost of Overhead for counters space, etc. Cost of Salaries for pilots, air stewards, counter personnel, baggage handlers, security, ticket takers, maintenance, etc. Cost of Gas for the maintenance vehicles and planes Cost of Maintenance for the maintenance vehicle and planes Cost of the planes Cost of Airport charges for leasing gates and landing charges Cost of food on flight for pilots, personnel and passengers Cost of lawsuits against the airlines Profit margins Etc. AT ALL airports Add it all up, divide it all out by number of planes, personnel and airports, and the number of passengers from each airport, etc. Obviously, it's a very complicated calculation. ;-) Why do they lose money anyway? They also have to compete with the other airlines, so probably have to charge less than the costs of all that.
