  • No because you did not know that someone else had already asked it. Sorry. I hate to hear things like this as I thought people were free to ask and answer as they wanted..
  • You must have received a notification from the AB moderators as to the reason why the flag was accepted. Then where is the problem? You must accept flags as a part of the game and the acceptance of the flag by AB moderators as the decision of the umpire. By accepting you will derive more fun out of the game that is Answerbag.
  • No the two are asking for different answers and sadly this sort of thing does happen here on AB. Some flag questions not really thinking about if the questions asked are asking for the same information and are more interested in the moderation points. The staff have thousands of these flags to go through and some get past through. But posting a question about it will not help you get satisfaction or get it restored. When you have one merged and you know your asking for different information then the one that it was merged with, go to the question and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on feedback. Let the staff know a mistake was done and asked them to review it again. They are great but they too make mistakes and they will restore them if they agree. it may take a day or two but that is because they do a lot of work to keeping the site moving.
