  • I don't believe so, no. I have facebook friends, who in turn have facebook friends of their own that I am not facebook friends with, and I assume that they DO leave comments on the profiles of those other, non-mutual friends. I, however, have never been notified of any such comments to those non-mutual friends. You could still see comments on a person's wall that were left by one of your friends on facebook, if the person they commented is in your network and they don't have their privacy setting set to only let their friends view their profile. I hope this isn't too confusing! Hope it helps! P.S. If in doubt or you just really don't want someone to see part of a conversation, just use the regular mail/inbox messaging instead :)
  • If you leave a message on Bill's wall and your friend Cindy is not friends with Bill, then Cindy will not see the comment on her home page :)
