  • i would recommend that you go in for some x-rays or an MRI. there's no requirement for surgery, but the doc may be able to give you some solutions specific to your issues. sometimes mild problems only require rest. i have some bursitis in my knees, but i don't do anything for them, except for one cortisone shot a few months back. running aggravates them, so i run less, walk more, and ice them when they hurt. i would say the best thing you can do is rest your knees, consult a doc, and follow their advice.

  • It depends on the extent of the pain..its a good idea to do exercises to build the quadricep muscles..if you are having too much pain consult a doctor..
