  • Unfortunately, or fortunately, I think he falls under the first amendment rights on this issue? I'm not a lawyer and maybe this is incitement of some kind? Definitely not good advice. If his case is valid then he should just wait for the courts to decide.
  • Way to go Alan Keyes. Saying it like it is. Freedom of speech and anything short of inciting violence is ok. We are in trouble and people are starting to smell the coffee.
  • I'd say a lot of far left wingers come closer to treason than Keyes comes to incitement.
  • I have read some of the article but I remembered this case. It began around July 2008, one Chicago man said Obama was gay, another said Obama was a junkie, another from New Jersey said that Obama's birth certificate was fake and this Alan Keys from Chicago ran against Obama for a political thing and lost but joined the New Jersey man in his claim. The GOP candidates repeated these things in a rally, that caught the attention of the Supreme Court as they had no way of knowing what was going on, they subpoenaed the four mentioned idiots, the two first ones disappeared. The New Jersey man and this Alan Keys sued Obama for not being a US citizen. By then the Supreme Court had received the corresponding documents requested to Obama and they also requested the Hawaiian authorities for the originals of the birth certificate, two other documents a health one and the other a newspaper add announcing the birth of Barack Hussein Obama with his personal data. The Hawaiian authorities sent the Supreme Court the requested documents. Around the end of October the Supreme Court dismissed the case and filed it. The New Jersey man disappeared but this Alan Keys insisted with the press who did not believe him. The web blogs were full of rubbish but it was a closed case. The Supreme Court members are all Republicans and were appointed by G.W.B. Do you by chance think they would have covered up for Obama? No way it could have happened. Since these issues did not prosper, then the Obama's enemies said he cheated with the votes it did not prosper, then he became a Muslim it did not prosper and now he is a communist. You see, this is the problem when mean, sick and pot heads use intangibles which can not be proved.
  • I believe this issue was settled over 50 years ago. You can talk all the trash you want and you can advocate revolt, as long as you don't do anything about it. Only by taking action do you cross the line.
  • I had a lot of respect for Alan Keyes until he went over the edge with this Obama fixation. My loss of respect is not because of him targeting Obama, it is his apparent break with reality with what appears to be nothing but acts and words based on revenge and sour grapes. He changed after he lost to Obama. Too bad, I always enjoyed hearing him speak even if I did not agree with him. As to how far one must go before it becomes incitement, I do not know. I watched the video and he does not actually call for troops to disobey, he offers support for troops taking the issue to court. Interesting. I did not know that some military personel have taken it upon themselves to do this. I will have to do some more checking.
  • I detest Alan Keys, but I'm an advocate of absolute free speech.
  • From What I have seen from the democrat side Treason is alright if it fits your desires. My country your game unforunately you cant' take your ball home because were in a prison. BTY I look forward to future violence that will be occuring the Gov. should not have drugged me or killed my family I look forward to the blood.
  • Bah. We had the same issue come up when Clinton was President and some in the military (or faux military) talked about 'defending America' by defying the Commander-in-Chief. While some young ignorant Dittoheads were attracted to the notion, the officer corps were very adamant about the chain of command and civilian oversight of the military.
  • Always talk like this when we change presidents. I hate obama, but he will be respected by the military as soldiers know they could have their lives taken away by just talking against him. Military personnel are not free and do not have freedom to espress opinions. Being in the military takes a great many of your freedoms away. If it ever came to the point to where the military has to take the president out to save America the country, then the military will as they are dedicated to America and not to the man.
  • I have always liked Alan Keys and had the chance to hear him in person when he ran for Democratic nomine back in the 80s. He is very educated and knows much of what is going on in the world. He will never be elected president because like Paul is not a member of the CFR or TC. Obama scares me very much...and I have a very dark and bad feeling about him and his adminstration. He like Bush is nothing more than a puppet of those whom control this country. Yet they firmly believe they are going in the right direction...but at the cost of the country and all it was built upon originally.
