That would be the differences between the way men and women think, and react to different situations and to the realities in their lives.

Which are the men and which are the women?

It's more than just telling them apart by the way they look. It's chromosomes and how certain people feel inside; sometimes they do not feel like the gender they are born into and there are studies to find out why.

Ha! Oh,..possum..(lol.. sorry..They want you to learn about all the terrible things women have had to go through before they were "allowed" to be real, equal human beings. They want you to learn to be "sensitive" to their...needs. They want you to know why it is "not right" for you to flirt with them at work...even though it is hilarious when your female supervisor grabs your butt as she walks by. You see, Possum, you are a male, and your kind have been used as cannon fodder and sword sharpening stones for thousands of years. That is what males do when foreigners come snooping around, looking for new territory...they go and place themselves between the "bad guys" and our holy, sacred,...stuff. They take the stones, the spears, arrows, and finally..the sword..in the gut..and that is what they do..oh, they are also supposed to split the heads of as many of the bad guys as they can...before they die. >> But, see, this is basic stuff. The main thing is bringing in the "food". You drag it out of the unwilling ground, or kill it on the hoof and bring it home. That is your full time job. The war thing is just a for whenever....understand? You have to bring home the goodies. Every day. >> Now, what do women do? Well, they have babies. And Possum, it is the most unspeakably painful, horrendous, experience you can ever imagine! Women only do it because they love babies so much.....(and they want somebody to take care of them in their old age...because you won't be around, having had your head chopped off in some battle with some bad guys, or you have collapsed from exhaustion). It is an amazing system, Possum. It is..is...Ordained by God!!! So, you can't argue with it. >> And man am I in deep hockey now! Ha! I don't care. I am a level 66 Maestro and it is Saturday! And I have my single malt to keep me company. Do your worst, gals and trollies! I do not retract a word! (lol!)

Women continue to exist in roles and relationships that often make them subordinate to men, because they are paid less than men for the same work, because their movements are restricted, or because they are not permitted to take on higher status work. Gender studies takes into account social and economical differences between women and men at each stage of policy development for the purpose of revealing potential different impact of policy, program and law on women and men and ensuring equal results for women and men, boys and girls, in measures design and implementation.
