I never really saw the difference in every day wear, but I do wear the waterproof to weddings and funerals and it seems to hold up!

regular. i read that the waterproof formula does not make your lashes as thick or as long as regular... something about the consistency.

regular most of the time.but i like waterproof for the summer or if i curl my eyelashes...waterproof holds them in place better ;)
