Does putting Doctor on your name make you a doctor? Going through the courses required and subscribing to the requirements of a medical licensing board makes you a doctor. The same goes for any organization.

COAT, as an AB Club, has put together some guidelines about what it means to be a member. This is not about exclusivity; it's more so a matter of making sure everyone embraces the same values. That can be assessed by information like stats, reputation, and so forth. COAT is about adding positivity to the community, and COAT is a very friendly and helpful aspect of the community. If someone randomly adds COAT to the name, it wouldn't be rendered as true. In order to be a part of it, you have to join in collaboration with the other members.

Technically, it makes you a COAT if you have been approved to be a member of the COATS but being a COAT is about attitude and extending positivity and friendship to members at ab. It means avoiding drama and petty differences which can make this site more meaningful. Often, it means going out of your way to extend some kind words and actions to people by acknowledging their contributions to be just as important as anyone else's.
