  • Just keep trying to chivvy them along . For me procrastination is one of lifes worst offences. We never know when time will run out so why waste what we have.
  • Im a procrastinator. Basically its lazyness. I always get my work done on time but I leave it to the last minute. Now I have kids - I am having to try to get them to do their coursework etc befire the last minute so I know how frustrating it can be. Sometiems by procarastianting - the problem goes away but thats rare and thne soemthing happens at the last minute that prevents you from doing what you needed to do.... There are time management courses etc. which can help. I may leave things to the alst minute but I do prioritse them so if I have 8 things to do that wil leach take 1 hour - the most important one will be done first, so if something unexpected does happen - its impact is limited to the unimportant stuff. Still not good though is it! I am at least honest
  • Its just a lack of motivation or desire, eventually it will get done when it HAS to get done.I don't know,I am somewhat of a procrastinator. It drives me crazy to have to deal with another procrastinator, there really is only room for one.lol
  • I usually wait til the absoulute last minute with doing my laudry.. I just hate folding it!!! I`ll do everything else just to avoid doing it ..
  • Procrastinators wait til the last minute to complete whatever it is that they are responsible to complete. The key is to take that 'last minute' and fit it into your timetable. That way, the procrastinator's 'last minute' is your 'right on schedule'. Procrastinators are driven by a) how long it takes them to complete the task and b) how long they have to complete that task. After comparing the two, they'll start when they believe the time is right. To a procrastinator, timing is everything.
  • Do I have to tell you? It'll take to long and I can't be bothered
  • I'll tell you later....
  • I'll answer this question tomorrow.
  • im doing it now. i tell ya trying to combat procrastination with procrastination dont work..
  • I'm a 'recovering procrastinator'. Procrastinators need to be held accountable for what they say they'll do or are supposed to do and supported where they need help to jumpstart things. Pep talks help too. Different people delay stuff for different reasons- for me it's out of fear of failure, lack of motivation and confidence, avoiding stress and perfectionism. What helps: making to-do lists with deadlines, allocating enough time for each thing, breaking down projects into smaller parts i can handle comfortably, one step at a time, rewarding myself when i accomplish something even small stuff. In the end I realize that most stuff I was dreading wasn't that bad or difficult to do after all. Hope this helps your beloved procrastinator!
  • I'm just lazy and I admit it willingly.
  • Some are just lazy, but other have had their will destroyed and are living in depression and does not even realize it. Not everybody is lazy, some are truly sick.
  • loneliness and lack of purpose. those are the two i would say are the main reasons. Hell i was once a procrastinator but then i met this girl and i got involved with the ARMY and i dropped sixty pounds in six months and now i get things done.
