Do you know who were in 1999 the Top 25 Most Evil People of the Millennium, according to the NYPost.com users? (see my answer) What are you thoughts about that list?

    A completely wrong millennium list of people that does not take into consideration history and facts which are well known to most people who have the good habit of reading.

    1] War criminals – Crimes against Humanity
    These people willfully committed the most horrible crimes against humanity

    1] Adolf Hitler 1664 - 8.67
    3] Josef Stalin 1284 - 6.69
    4] Pol Pot 919 - 4.79
    5] Josef Mengele 783 - 4.08
    7] Saddam Hussein 710 – 3.70
    8] Adolf Eichmann 641 - 3.34
    10] Idi Amin 514 - 2.68
    13] Benito Mussolini 386 - 2.01
    22] Slobodan Milosevic 242 – 1.26

    2] Serial Killers – Mentally Ill
    These were serial killers it has been proved that they all had mental issues

    NYPost.com is showing their great ignorance, passing that ignorance onto their readers and not allowing the readers to select their candidates in the right category. What ever this printed thing it is an ignorance enabler which only hurts the people who read it. Many of the people I know have canceled their subscriptions to it and the press is giving them hell because of other issues and terrible mistakes they have made in the past two days.

    I know and understand it is not your fault, you did not make the pole but unfortunately you posted it which has been a regretful mistake.

    According to the New York Post poll conducted from 9/30/99 thru 11/1/99, among NYPost.com users. Notice that Bill and Hillary are write ins. We suppose this means that they were not on the list of choices, but had to be written in. Isn't it interesting how the media tells us how much the American people love Bill and Hillary?

    heh heh. This list rather reflects the 25 most hated people by American society in 1999.

    Hardly a measure of the 'damage to society' any of these people caused...

    I am against this list because its misleading.

    This is my second answer to this question, with my own position to the list published in my first answer, there: http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/5629474

    I waited some time to give this answer, because I wanted to see first the reactions to the list.

    To make things clear, I was shocked myself by reading that list, which has been reproduced on various websites. As said in my source, it was an internet poll among NYPost.com users. And probably the Clintons "were not on the list of choices, but had to be written in", this means, some users of this forum suggested to add them. For me, it is absolutely clear that they have nothing to do in that list, but I was wondering how this could have happened. It has probably more to do with the users of NYPost.com or the way the poll was made than with any reality. The forum should probably have rejected those nonsensical submissions. Or put the whole poll in the fire.
