Help answer this question below.

I changed my alternator on my 97 ford explorer and was wondering where was the tension pulley so that i can put the belt back on. it's a v8 5.0

    lay under the engine (passenger side) use a socket wrench cant remember size but the pulley is located there i know this because i own this kind of explorer

    Well Ford usually makes that kinda a "combination" with their "Power Steering Pump Mount" using "Slotted Brackets". So U may have to adjust it as well. John
