  • Yes my daughter had her 1st innoculation a month ago. No problems
  • I have no received the vaccination, nor has my daughter. I did contract HPV about 2 years ago from my significant other who was not aware he had any such thing (as far as I know there is still no test to test males for this virus). I went to my annual because well it was time. I thought it would be same old boring thing like every other time. I went home not worrying about my pap smear, I get a call about a week later telling me to come back into the office to get a biopsy, 2 weeks later I get a call from my doctor directly (I knew then it was bad) telling me that I had the worst strand of the HPV and it was in it's last stages (the stage right before cervical cancer) I was completely devestated. They did surgery and my last pap smear came back normal. No evidence of exsisting virus, nor precancerous cells. Before contraction, I had NO IDEA what HPV was, now I tell everyone. I have to get paps every 3 months for the rest of my natural born life. You know those TELL SOMEONE shirts, I totally want one because so many deaths could be prevented if people just knew. Education is the best possible prevention. Too bad I found out too late. When my daughter becomes old enough to receive the vaccination, she will get it. TELL SOMEONE!
  • I am 12 years old and I am getting it this year. Today we* got the nurses in to talk about it. Then we had to take a consent form home. *We being all the girls in year 8 (12 coming on 13) P.S There is 3 injections over a period of 6 months. So I should think it's 1 every 2 months.
  • I've had it. There's three, I get my next one in November.
  • Yes, my daughter had the shots in 2007 and no problems that I know of that were connected to it (other than it isn't a comfortable shot). This year we are going through intense migraines and never a reprieve from the headache going on 4 months now, just the level of pain. I hope the shot didn't have anything to do with it. We have gone to many doctors, neurologists, therapists, oesteopaths, naturalpaths and have had CAT scans, blood tests, x-rays, nutritionist, no one knows the cause or what to do. The emergency room doctor said he has seen several young girls this year with status migraines and her therapist said the same thing. But we have ran out of ideas, she has even had to withdraw from first semester of school this year. Wishing for a miracle.
