I think a colored one is okay. People prefer white, however, because it gives off a crisp, clean look. If you throw a tie with it, I don't think it matters. I think blue's a good choice, myself.

Depends on what kind of job it is, I would tend to agree and stick with smart clothes.

It depends entirely on the job interview. For might part, I stick with a black collared shirt and a black wool jumper.
