  • Of course! No sign can tell me to /not/ press a large button.
  • Yes. When I was younger my mom told me not to touch the stove and she was right I burned off my eyebrows trying to cook.
  • Of course I have is not that' Do not touch' sign an invitation.
  • Of course...havent we all.
  • Of course. I'm even doing it right now! (Get your mind out of the gutter.... I'm eating my brother's Hershey bar he told me to leave alone!)
  • Not only did I touch it - I stuck my finger in it - and then shortly later something else.
  • Yupe unfortunately, there was this apple.
  • Only when the person that told me not to touch it wasn't looking.
  • Of Course! When someone tells you not to do something it automatically makes you want to do it!
  • I can't answer that because my parents our on answerbag now.I'm not gonna bust myself.LOL
  • You mean like in Spongebob when Patrick kept poking the jellyfish costume man when the fish guard told him not to? Yes. Wells, accidently of course. Or I just don't remember good.
  • Yes, and here are some good examples: In the gas station, during Christmas time, they had constructed a very large tree [or tried to make it resemble a tree, at least] out of the 24oz. paper coffee cups. It was probably as tall as I am. So... I was just sitting there staing at these cups thinking "These poor souls probably took more than an hour to set up this thing. Ridiculous!" And I tired walking by it fastly to make the air breeze enough to knock it over. That didn't work. Then I tried "accidentally" brushing against it. That didn't work. So I was really getting aggravated, because I wanted the cups to topple all over the place, for some reason. So I just said "screw this," and backhanded it as hard as I could. And even THAT didn't work. Turns out, they superglued it. =[ And what's even worse is that the employees saw my last attempt. (At least they were laughing... I wasn't the only one who tried hahah) And in my computer lab class, there is this massive, eye-catcher of a big red button. I had never even seen a red button like that before in my life... only in the movies. (heh) So, while the teacher went out of the room for a second, someone turned off the lights , for some reason. I saw it as the perfect opportunity to press the button. I did, and all it did was turn all of the computers off at once. It was a huge disappointment. But it made a really nice whirring noise, I must say...
  • i think we all have

  • Yes, I used to have this box and on the outside it said do not open. When you opened it this really loud horn went off scaring the heck out of you. I took it to work and set it on a shelf and it went off at least once every day.
  • I generally touch anything I'm not allowed to touch. And that's especially when I am directly told, "Don't touch this." That's like asking me touch touch it, and then accidentally break it somehow.
  • Of course. When I was a kid I did it all the time and as an adult, I have done it a few times as well.

  • When i was 13... before i knew about electronics as i do now, i tried to learn about our new "packard bell" desktop (1992) by "osmosis..." jokingly. Thats how i got my first electrical burn. The next was while i was setting up a PA. I told my guy not to plug anything in yet while i was connecting the speakers. Not only did he connect everything, including power, but he used a power cable with no ground lug. 240v sucks balls. That was totatly his fault though, i was punished by association.

  • Chronically. I have ADHD and a problem with supposed authority. But the best was... In an interminable and unbelievably boring Material Science lab at Cornell, there was an impressively large and mysterious piece of equipment with a prominent switch labled "World Destruct Button". In the up position (where the switch was) was the label "World Continues to Exist". In the down position was the label, "World comes to an immediate cataclysmic end". The only thing that shocks me is that I was evidently the first student in over 300 that term to do the obvious. Yes, all hell broke loose, and I actually managed to ruin a very important experiment for a very important professor. They tried to expel me, but fortunately I was a double-major: Mechanical Engineering & History, and thus I was "tried" by reps from the Liberal Arts college as well as the Engineering School. I defended myself drawing on arguments from literature and anthropology ("the one forbidden thing" motif), psychology (telling a 2nd child such as myself NOT to do something was tantamount to telling them to do it) and a straight appeal to the the basis of the scientific method (as it was absolutely obvious that the world would not come to an end, I only did what any inquisitive academic liberal and scientific maverick would have done!). The short of it is, they threw me out of Engineering while I became a cult hero in the Arts & Sciences college.
  • yea when i was little i screwed up with the ATM machine right in the middle of my mother's transaction while paying for groceries. man i remember the ass whoopin when i got home...lol
  • When I was really young I remember finding a fish hook by the lake. It was fish shaped and had two triple hooks on each end. I was completely attracted and amazed by it, and my dad completely forbid me to touch it, he picked up and threw it in the garbage. As soon as I was out of his sight I ran for the can he dumped it in and took it out, and after a few mere seconds of playing with it, I ran crying to my dad with these hooks stuck in my fingers and pissing blood like a pig. XD One of them got really stuck in the palm of my hand, and I remember freaking to get it out and it jammed even more and another part got stuck in the section where your fingers fold. It was quite a mess, and had to be taken to the clinic to prevent potential infection.
  • Yes. I inherited that trait from Adam and Eve.

"hhhmmm...should i or should i not ??, oh it cant be too bad, they will never know" It is just FAR too tempting !! lol
