  • Why do you want to "ban" someone? If they are going agains the rules, or using bad or offensive language or otherwise causing problems, I would report them to the community leaders.
  • Give the email you sent time to be processed and try not to ask too many of these questions. You will antagonize him and just make things worse.
  • You cannot ban a person by yourself. Depending on the user's activities, and other users' feedback, they may first be penalised or later, banned by the staff.
  • You can't ban anyone from AB. Even the Community Leaders can't ban any user. Only the AB admins have the power to do that. But if you think someone on AB should be banned, what you can do is collect evidence of their abusive behavior, then write a letter to AB-Rich. You must remember that the admins don't patrol the site to actively look for people to ban. There has to be a complaint, and the complaint must be well-documented and well-written.

  • 1) The Answerbag Staff can suspend an account for a given time or just delete its contents. For this to happen, the user must have behaved against the terms of use, of whatever will be in the appreciation of the Staff. 2) If you think that a particular user is behaving against the rules, you could make a feedback to the Staff about it, using the "Feedback" link at the bottom of the page. The Staff will still make their own decision and could reject your suggestion. 3) If an user had their account suspended or deleted, they could try to come back to AB with a new account. Answerbag could have some possibilities of stopping this, but: - this user will not have a great "point power" by opening a new account - extremely aggressive beginners are usually quickly spotted and their accounts are then also quickly rejected.
