I would say Cozumel. I used to live there and I'm from the U.S. It's a beautiful island with great scuba diving, shopping, beaches, cool little restaurants and clubs but, don't confine your selves to the island. Go see the ruins, the little island to the south.(no cars allowed. You can rent hammocks and take naps at anytime. There is also a place on the main land that you two can dive underground and inland that is cool and guided. I hope I helped with this little info.
