It can effect you before 6 years sometimes because if the gall bladder gets enlarged due to it bad condition, it can burst resulting death. Due to that it is always suitable to remove it by an operation. However that operation is not dangerous because my mother did it and she is healthy now. The gall bladder is not essential for the body's activities as it is a part belonging to the liver for the digestion of fats. However it can cause severe results to the body if it is in a bad condition.
