If one of my cats(I have 2) went up to a tree, she wouldn't hug it, she would try to eat it. My cat eats everything in sight-string, clay, dust, catfood, rice, even my rubber bracelet!!

yes... i does. its probally because cats like to make their claws and paws stronger so they grip the trees. give me points im cool.

Sure does - even when those trees have been crafted into furniture legs, chair frames etc.
