Have you ever ridden a horse with rain rot bareback, and gotten fungus on your butt?

Nope, but then I didn't let my horses get rain rot. They got groomed every night. They got baths with Head and Shoulders on weekends in warm weather (which really knocks down the fungi). They were in at night in cold wet weather. I rarely had that problem.

I've never heard of rain rot on their back. How does that work?
