It seems like the Patella (knee cap) is moving. it sometimes does this when there is alot of fluid around it, or maybe not enough! Make sure you drink alot of water, and see if that helps, (as drinking water, can actually help get rid of excess fluid retention!)

My knees do that all the time along with my ankles, fingers, wrists, toes, elbows and sometimes very rarely my neck.

Another possibility is that it is the sound of your tendons moving over and round the bones and the joint moves. This can be the hint that all in not well in the joint. Good idea to see a medical doctor and have it checked out. Also taking joint pain relief remedies can be useful, but again consult a medical specialist before indulging. My doctor has suggested glucosamine (at least I think that is how is spelt?) as being beneficial to joints. First port of call is the doctor, find out exactly what it is and what can be done. Then do it!

I have this problem every now and then, and since i work for a chiropractor acupuncturist it is a very simple fix. You need to find a chiropractor, preferably a "hands on" chiropractor, not a chiropractor who uses the "tool" Your knee is out of joint which is why it is making the "popping" noises, and will only get worse if it is not fixed.

It may be lack of synovial fluid in your joints. That may not be the proper spelling but that is how it sounds.

that happens to me 24/7 all over my body

When I was younger I was told that my knee popping alot was from having weak quads and they were pulling my knee cap out of place allowing the joint to dislocate or just fill with fluid. A good test of this is if the knee get sore or tired quickly when going up a few flight of stairs. If you belive this is the cause of your knee popping or of pain you might want to see a physical theripest for more info and maybe some tests.
