Forget situps or/and crunches as the best fix. Abdominal exercise will tone belly muscles but not target belly fat. A balanced program of aerobic exercise and strength training has the best long term results. Strength training helps build lean muscle mass. Lean muscle comsumes more calories than non-lean muscle during exercise and even when you're at rest. Aerobic exercise improves cardivascular fitness, making it easier to exercise longer. It also makes it easier for your body to service your muscles (more blood oxygen, faster removal of waste products, etc). Make sure to couple the exercise with a good diet. Talk to a nutritionist or dietician for a program that will help your body recover from your loss.

I'm sorry for your loss Washu, you will be able to get your figure back but it will take time just as it took time for your body to grow. Someone once told me it takes 9 months to stretch your body it takes 9 months to get it back in shape. Don't strain yourself but ab crunches & sit ups should help get it back to normal or smaller. Good luck
