Now we have lived together in Michigan for almost 3 years. Yep, she is a keeper. I think we are in for the long run. :)

I have met someone online, visited him in Scotland, and fell more in love with him and fell in love with the country as well. I would relocate in a heart beat. I'm going back to spend Christmas and New Year's with him. We talk every single night. And every once in awhile it gears towards the long term subject.

Ultimately, that’s exactly what I did. However, it wasn’t as simple as that might sound. We met online in 1990, met in person three times in 1991-1992, and when I graduated from high school (also in 1992), the top-ranked university for my intended major just happened to be about 100 miles from her home. I went there for the school, but the fact that it was close enough for weekend visits was definitely a nice side benefit! We broke up in 1993, and then I *really* ticked her off in 1994 and spent the rest of the year trying to get her to at least be my friend. By 1995, I was serving a two-year mission to Andalucía and we wrote occasionally. In 1996, she decided to give me another chance, so we started writing regularly and when I returned to school in 1997, we started up the weekend visits again. This all culminated in our wedding, on the seventh anniversary of the day we met—at which point I obviously relocated to be with her. ;-) So yeah, I would, but I’d have to *really* be sure.
