What style/type of dress, is suitable for an all day wedding, if the dress code is lounge suit?

For women, lounge suit is pretty-much the same as semi-formal.. so a shorter dress (I don't mean a minidress) would be appropriate.. appose to a floor length dress. For a wedding wear something flowy.. maybe thats fitted in the upper body, but flows away from the hips. I'd wear a lighter colour too.. (has more of a wedding feel) but not white or ivory!
