The best cup of coffee I ever had was in Canada, but it's mostly because the water tastes so good there. You can't make good tasting coffee with bad tasting water.

World's Best Cup? For me, that would be the coffee I brew myself. I roast my own, from single-estate varietals. I can tweak the roasting times and temps to get exactly the flavor profile I'm after (ever had a cup of coffee that smelled like a bunch of fresh blueberries or cinnamon— *without* being flavored?)I measure my beans by weight instead of volume. I grind only seconds before starting to brew. I use filtered water. And I use a coffee maker that uses a combination of drip and pressure modes. My friends think I'm a geek. But they inevitably "WOW!!!" over my coffee. ;)

I actually had the best cup of coffee yesterday. I recently bought a 40 oz. can of Folger's Classic Blend that had a free sample of Dunkin Donuts Original Blend accompanying it. I brewed the sample up and enjoyed the fact that: A. it was free B. and it was Dunkin Donuts not Starbucks I'm not even going to ask why Folger's is giving away samples of Dunkin Donuts. FYI...Gum on the street isn't free candy!

The best coffe in the world is Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Don't get a blend, get the real stuff! The last time I found any it was about $30 per pound but worth every penny!

last spring i went to nicaragua via my high school and it was there in the kitchen of my host mother that every day i sat across from my roommate( she didn't drink coffee) that i had the BEST coffee of my life and it was instant, apparently!

We use a french press and grind fresh coffee from Boca Java. I've never had coffee this good.
