women like to nag their sons because they get bored of life from time to time and at that moment nagging seems like the best idea to them

There's a myriad of answers. - They don't want you to repeat their mistakes. - They want you to do the right thing. - They're bitter and just want to be control freaks. - They're imbalanced. - You're a bonehead, and you're ready to do a bonehead thing. - They're deathly afraid that you'll end up like the kid they heard about in the news. - They don't think of you as a budding adult, but as the baby whose diaper needed changing just a heartbeat ago. I can go on and on, but I'm sure you get the idea.

I wish my fiance's mom would quit calling and nagging from a different state every few days like she even has a clue what is going on here, its in her nature

I have two sons and I've never nagged them about homework or anything else. But, that's because I was lucky. Some women have to guide their sons and remind them what they need to do and I wouldn't necessarily call it nagging. When kids get older, deep down, I think they appreciate their mother's guidance although they refer to it as nagging when they are young.
