Yes they have, when I first came on AB I was having a very hard time and that lead to me being very vulnerable. A group of people realised the fact and stalked and bullied me quite badly. I was so upset I left for a while. I still get hurt if people are nasty for no reason or touch a particular nerve but now I can handle it.

I have to admit to being a bit taken aback when answering a question on marriage at the follow-up I received. I think it was OTT and felt that it was somehow wrong to have a very harmless answer to a question. I felt I had to defend my opinion which was completly harmless but I felt the follow-up question was too much. I am not one for goading others and I would not question someone's opinion in that manner.

Yes. I asked AB what they thought common sense was because a lot of my friends say I don't have it and someone said it's something that I don't have. :(

hell no and never will. There is only one person on here who knows me well enough to be considered more than a name on a screen. everyone else on here could be highly advanced bots for all I know. I have been on the net long enough to know that people get much ballsier than real life hiding behind a screen.

Yes. Those on AB who are in favor of animal abuse, and against vegetarianism tend to be pretty condescending when espousing the virtues of the cruelty they enjoy.

No. I have extremely thick skin though. I have seen people TRY to hurt me with words but I can see through it and I do realize that this is the Internet. I like Most people here though, Even ones who probably don't think I like them by some of my answers but I don't get close enough or involved enough to actually get upset by what a stranger says to me. It's also hard to interpret emotional inflection in a typed word and I'm sure some people see me as hostile occasionally because I just bluntly disagree. Doesn't mean I'm mad and it's not intended to hurt anyone. It's the same as if we were out for a drink and I disagreed only you can't see the tone in which I disagreed with you and people will automatically assume the worst. I don't intentionally mean to hurt anybody but I come off as blunt sometimes because I am just too old to be diplomatic and have gotten rather opinionated with age.

Yes, once. It came as quite a surprise to me as I never thought anything anyone might say here would bother me, but it was a unique situation.
