Question

He filed the divorce and it's been final for a month. We have no children. He sees me several times a week. There is no sex, my choice. He never stopped seeing me. He says he hasn't given up on us. I'm confused. If he hadn't given up, why file? any advice?

I think he's trying to take back power and that felt like an empowering, take-charge thing to do. It sounds like you two need to fully separate and then reassess in a few months. I suggest separate counseling for both of you to find out what the underlying personal issues are. Good luck!
