Valentines will be the same as ever this year at our house. My husband has bought me a new rose bush (around $15.00). We will plant it in the garden (I now have 25 rose bushes, he gives me one every year). We have a quite dinner that we prepare together tonight.

I bought not so expensive champagne, $25 bucks a bottle...And the grocery bill for dinner, turned out pretty low too, I just decided to have more main dished like soup and meat, rather then buying lots of appetizers!

Well, my honey is out of town for work. We'll have our usual Valentine's celebration when he gets home -- a quiet dinner for two that we cook and enjoy together at home. It's our tradition -- started when we were just 21 year olds dating with no money.

Quiet day at home today.We will not be going out for dinner and paying a babysitter.Instead we will cook one of our favorite meals.I bought one big box of chocolates for us three to share and cards but that is the only money being spent.We all know we love each other.....that's what counts.Have a great day with your wife Jim.....
