Question

Help answer this question below.

I wanted to watch movies from my Macbook on my TV, so I just bought a Mini-DVI to DVI adapter, an HDMI to DVI cable to connect to it, and a Mini-to-RCA cable for sound. Now, I can get the image on the HDMI setting, and I can get the sound on the AV settin

When you set your TV to HDMI, you may need to select the sound source. Normally the audio would come from HDMI too, but you need it to come from an aux source.

I would expect that most TV's would allow you to select the sound source when in HDMI mode... you just need to find the right menu.
