I have just flown back to England after living in New Zealand for ten years. I found the Maori people and culture to be very interesting indeed. My name is Dave and in Maori it's Rawiri, I made many friends with Maori people, my friend who lived next to me was a Karmatua in our local IWI. He was called Alex and he was simply amazing at telling me old Maori legends and folk law. Best wishes Dave A NZGUY

Very interesting and deep, powerful and proud. Lovely to look at, neat facial tattoos (on the really old-school ones), great Kiwi accent.

I like them just as much as I like any other people. I live in NZ & although I'm not a racist, I've noticed that they're given benefits (any type from disability to umemployment) far easier than white people, which I think is unfair. There are just as many caucasians who need financial support. Anyway...end rant. I really find the culture interesting although I live near several maori families & they seemed to have sadly abandoned it.

They are brilliant, i stayied with this guy called Frank Henare in Invercargill for 2 weeks there last year. Just the coolest guy in the world. This other Maori friend of mine was call Shane from christchurch, man what a singer he was. The most chilled out people in the world. If they where anymore relaxed they might as well be asleep.

I think Maori women are some of the most beautiful and exotic creatures on planet earth. I love their accents, too. So sexy.
