There are 2 roads, one to heaven, one to hell. Each road has a guardian, but one of them is a liar. How does one reach the desired road?

You ask one of them what the other would say. So A and B. You can ask either but let's say you ask A. If B is the liar A will indicate that B will point the wrong way so you do the opposite. If A is the liar then B would tell the truth so A will lie and so you pick the opposite way. Either way you choose the opposite of whichever direction is indicated.
