How do you figure God likes some cultures or peoples over others? Nowhere does it say that in the bible. As the story goes, he sent his only son (do you have kids) to take the human form on earth and die so that all the people of the earth could have a chance to be saved regardless of their culture, etc. As far a sculture is concerned, once you are a Christian you live a Christain lifestyle, which becomes a part of your culture, whatever that may be. They believe that if you follow a set rules, and truly believe on God, you should be saved. Black, white, red, yellow... African, American, German... whatever. Plus, God isn't human... so his qualities are different than ours. As humans, christians believe we should humble ourselves to eachother, and to God, because we are just that- human. God is not.

The Christian god is very narcissistic. I believe He also suffers from borderline personality disorder and sociopathy. He has to be worshipped, have no equals, needs constant reassurance that He is supreme and that His followers believe He is supreme. He orders the wholesale slaughter of cultures who do not feed His ego. He knows all and controls all; therefore, everything that has happened has been by His design. Therefore, one can only conclude that He made humans knowing they would sin (which was part of His plan) so that He could then punish them for it. Sick. Example: Numbers 31: Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people...And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males...And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods...And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?...Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.(kill the children and women who aren't virgins)...But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. (rape the virgin female CHILDREN)

This question is designed to create controversy as it leaves no room for an answer that is logical. Whatever religion you prefer, do not expect perfect, internal, consistent logic. Ok, so you think that God is imperfect? Try sending your only son to die and take on all the sins of mankind. I think that takes someone very perfect to do that. And if God is so bad then why does He love us so much? This is how I see it; God has done so many amazing things for us we should want to adore and praise Him. He has given us more than we could ever deserve, I don't think that someone who is imperfect would do that. Another thing, God has all the power, so don't you think that if He was so bad when we mess up He would just strike us dead? But He doesn't do that because He loves us and He is a fair God.

God does not need our praise, the reason he made us is becuase he loved us and wanted us to have life.

As usual, your assumptions are incorrect. God does not NEED anything from us. The praise and adoration are for OUR benefit, not His. The more people that become aware of Him and His solution to our problem, the better. And that culture dig was just incorrect. He's just looking out for humans as much as possible while preserving their free wills.

It's amazing that so many folks are fine with the kind of god that hates the same things they do.
