Gmc 2.2 liter, head was replaced after timing chain broke. oil pressure upon cold start is great but as engine warms up oil pressure falls. compression is good as is preformance. what could be cause?

    Is the oil pressure drop significantly large? Normally pressure drops as temperature rises. This is applicable to most fluids. During starting oil is cold and hence pressure is high, but as oil warms up it becomes less viscous and pressure drops a little.
    However is the oil new? Was it renewed when head was changed? Above phenomenon can also occur if oil is dirty.
