Yes, try this....learn the last line first, then the next to last line, then the second to the last line and back forward until you have learned all of your lines. It works!

Read the script as often as you can. Knowing your lines is only half of it. It's knowing the show. Knowing the lines of everyone else. From my experience, the more times you read the script, the more it becomes second nature. ..and if that's not good enough, get it "stuck in your head". Make a recording of the script with and without your lines. Listen to it. How do most people learn lyrics? Just reading them? No. Hearing the song constantly. Works the same way with lines. They're both good techniques. I've tried both, and at this point, I'm working on my third show in 2009, and it's only Valentines Day!
