Why do so many people that trace their family tree claim to come from Royal Blood?

also if you were a serf or some lower class, their records would not have been as important, thus would not be kept track of and could very well been lost or never even written down. So the only records around are from the rich i.e. the royals

Perhaps because those of royal blood believed in sharing it around with all sorts of people through the ages...through mistresses and such so many who claim to have some traces of royal blood may indeed have it but "under the blanket" rather than having any legitimate claim.

Because everybody on the planet is effing special. Everyone has something better than everyone else. God forbid you are hispanic but you have to say, "well I'm Spanish from Spain." We all are STUPID (not you, per se, but the collective you, ie the planet). How about this....we are all descended from apes...that should shut eveyone up.

lol i dont know but i was watching this court show where this lady swore up and down and was being dead serious when she claimed she was the dutch princess. funny part was she lived in the us almost her entire life. she was a filthy old dirtbag being sued cause she couldnt afford to pay her HALF of the rent. lol. wow people are crazy!!!!
