I put a new a.c compressor on a 1990 chev p/u 350 i also put in a new orffice tube and new fittings when the truck is running the a.c light flashes on the control panel what is the problem. the a,c pump does not pump with the a.c light flashing.

Was the system pulled down to a proper vacuum prior to recharging? Is it charged to the proper pressure? If it started malfunctioning after you performed these tasks, I would say you either missed something, or didn't get something quite right.
