  • I dont think it should be a law, it should be your choice, but if your religion allows it, then definately. You do not truely know a person until you have lived with them. Take it from experience.
  • No way! The government does not need to have that kind of control over our daily lives. The government should not have to play parent. If people want to marry the wrong person, that is their business.
  • I don't think it should be law, because I don't believe the government should be able to control our personal life. It's a great thing that people should really consider doing though.
  • I don't think it should be a law. The government shouldn't be able to require that because it goes against some people's religious beliefs.
  • Your question reminds me of some countries, where the parents choose which male or female, their children will marry. No, we do not need this in america. the divorce rate would soar even more and someone would sue the government for iniating such a law. Lets continue to court and marry the way we are. if we make a mistake, so be it.
  • No I don't, and I doubt that it would ever happen due to religious constraints (many religions consider an unwed man and woman living together a sin - not that I'm a religous person, but I do respect the rights of other people to believe what they want).
  • No. In a society with so many different cultures, that conflicts with many people's culture. Also, the government is there to help people, not wipe their arses and get them dressed. If they are responsible enough to decide to get married, then they are responsible enough to choose whether they live with the person first or not
  • YES! Like a year. The divorce rate will decrease! Also, they shoudl have to take a test! (and same with having a baby)
  • No, we need less laws, not more.
