now a days many anti dandruff shampoos are available in the market but they also contains chemicals which are harmful for the hair. So the best way to get ride of head lice is to comb the hair twice a week with a comb dipped in a mug of warm water that contains 10 drops of tea tree oil.
2:You can use olive oil to smooth lice. Comb in generous amounts of the oil and leave in overnight. Wash out the next morning with tea tree shampoo.Repeat every four days for three weeks.

Get a lice kit remover and have someone comb your hair twice with the comb that comes with the kit. Then make sure you vacum and wash all your bedding in the entire house. You might still miss some so spread olive oil on your head, wear a shower cap and go to bed. Wash your hair really good to get rid of that oil.

Talk to a qualified heath care professional to find out based upon the infestation you have. Sometimes the quickest was is not the safest, and many treatments don't kill the nits (eggs), so it takes multiple applications to kill all live lice and nits. Don't be fooled by ads on the internet that say they kill lice in 6 seconds. It's physiologically impossible (and most likely not very safe either).
