  • You know it. And, probably rightfully so. Your 4th? In addition, you may do jail time. DUI's can be costly.
  • I hope for our sakes that it does (FINALLY) revoke your license. It sounds like college is the least of your worries. You have bigger fish to fry. You don't drive in Atlanta, do you?
  • It will depend on which school you choose to attend. some do notcare, but others use it to judge your character.
  • It sure has an affect on your insurance rates (if you have any at all) and probably means a suspended license. Depending on the criteria for your specific type of financial aid, it could also be in danger. I would check your materials and criteria under which it was awarded.
  • Whatever it takes, learn something from this. To learn from our mistakes is part of growing up. Some drunk drivers never get that chance. Good luck to you, move on in the right direction.
  • Interesting that your primary concerns seem to be your car insurance rates and your financial aid for college. As for your insurance rate, you can pretty much count on that DUI costing you BIGTIME...if you're able to qualify for insurance at all! As for the financial aid...it depends on where its coming from and what terms were specified when granted...and whether or not they would find that you violated same. Next thing, find a way of writing a question about how gratified you are that you didn't kill someone --like a mom or dad with five kids, or something-- and that the experience changed your life of selfish thinking.
