  • They want to get back together. Don't let them fool you.
  • Understand that closure is so very important between two people who were once in a relationship. Some people cannot begin another relationship if the last one was not completely ended.

  • Hi,Lori K!!! I WANT CLOSURE,,,NOW!!!hehe Closure,to me,means I want to become content with the ending, the finality of the relationship, the final bang(NOT)the,"Ok,maybe this is it,so how do I(we)become just, idk, friends in passing,or 'old' acquaintances" The closure I have had has been with not just the person, but also the locations!I left Pittsburgh in a huff(all moody, drunk most days,RAN from the feelings)and never got any closure,I still think about the who, what, and where stuff,,and that was 16 years ago(no,I am not all bunged up over it,just never had closure) I left a relationship a few years later and HAD the closure,,not only with her,but the places we lived as well. To finalize one passage in my life,so I could begin a different passage,I needed to be content with the ending, that is what I think SOME people look for,not all, mind you,but some actually want a clear, clean, settled ending to the relationship,so they don't have any loose strings, ones where the past's will get in the way of moving on,living in the now,not the then!

  • ive been in this situation and for me it was i wanted her to fuss up to lying to me for a month. i knew she was lying. all her closest friends and fam told me she was lying. yet she would always give me some bs story. and basically it was that i wanted her to know that i knew the truth and she wasnt foolin anyone. best part is 2 weeks later she came crying and beggin back to me so i gave her a dose of her own medicine.
  • Anytime a relationship ends, there can be many unresolved issues. The person who wants closure believes that the unresolved issued can be resolved by discussing them. This is usually not true, because there is no way to satisfactorily resolve issues without a meeting of the minds, which they will never have. In some cases it could be that they are hoping to renew the relationship, but not always.
  • Haha Lori I'm with you. I think it just a selfish thing people say that means basically they want to feel better about how things ended. So they ask for reasons or this and that with which to feel better which perhaps don't really exist at all. If you want closure then close the door. You have to put an end to things. And you have to deal with whatever feelings you have on your own - that's the only way. So you have to make your own closure. Make whatever mental and physical and psychic adjustments necessary. Haha that "I need closure"is a more recent thing - it wasn't around when people my age were young.
