The series Dallas, season 85-86 when all that happened, including the death of her husband, was revealed to be just Pam Ewing's long dream!

ER..lots of shock on there. Killing Dr Greene and Romano (no loss). All the main characters are now gone so it has lost it's appeal

+4 :) Well I was addicted to the soap Passions (shut up I know) And I was shocked by a LOT of things, too many to list, but the fact they actually took it off the air, shocked, and *sniff* saddened me.

A real life situation - - in the midst of loving "The Sonny and Cher Show", finding out that Sonny and Cher were going to get divorced. Similarly, though fiction, when 'Mike and Gloria Stivic' were divorced on " All in the Family." As much as I still respect this show, it was never the same once Sally Struthers and Rob Reiner left. And then 'Edith Bunker' died in her sleep on " Archie Bunker's Place" ! The world needs more Edith Bunkers. :)

"Who shot J.R.?" comes to mind from "Dallas". They messed up big time on the late eighties/early nineties show "Beauty and the Beast" when .. after two seasons .. they tried to do a third season without Beauty!! Linda Hamilton was having a baby and they made some bad decisions at the time. :(
