  • Please do not be ridiculous.
  • That is just silly, and how do you figure "1/128"?
  • They say one drop should be enough.. lol ;)
  • Not to be rude, but do you know you sound like an idiot, and that is probably why you can't get into one of those private colleges.
  • I am just going to copy and paste another almost identical question of yours: "If I say I am part Black but look White, will I have to prove my background to get affirmative action grants, scholarships, and various freebies? Do all of us minorities have to prove our backgrounds? " http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/5482204 See my answer. ...and second Firebrand's answer: "Please do not be ridiculous."
  • Probably not. But it's enough to have your Klan membership revoked.
  • 1/128 would mean that one of your great great great grandparents was black, and more than likely a slave also. (this answer is for those who would question it) I know what your'e trying to express thru your sarcasm. You are partly wrong though. The ones that make it into "rich private colleges" have to be at the top of their grade level. They have to earn their education. If you want to go to college there are programs. My son got straight A's in high school and received a scholarsip to a "rich private college", and he is white. Here is something else for you to think about: If you think about our history, there probably aren't too many black Americans who DON'T have WHITE blood in them.
  • So, you mean to tell me that one of your great, great, great, great, great, great grand parents was black? Which implies that BOTH of your great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandparents were black as well. And, of course, you've traced this back in your geneology through at least 6 generations (starting from your parents) and 140 or more years. That's GREAT! Now, about the attending "rich private colleges without having to pay like the Whites" part...that's plain bullsh*t and you know it. If you truely DON'T know it, then it's because YOU haven't looked at the processes behind scholarships, grants, and loans and what it takes to qualify for them. 'nuff said.
