  • Yes, you have hope. Look to Eminem for reference.
  • say the question without the word and i answer
  • Dont be stupid! Of corse you have! You have as much hope sa anyone. Education is helpful but not essential. You can take adult courses.. Or work on your talent. Im sure you have a passion such as.. err music or something! Do some gigs or something! Just never NEVER give up. Every superstar's been broke at some point! =)
  • There is always hope! I came from a small town where you worked at the grocery store or you lived off of welfare (not that there's anything wrong with that) Half of the population under 30 have children and more then half of them are single parents and I was able to get out and so can you! Print out 100 resumes and see where it leads you! you can always start off in an entry level somewhere and move up which is what I was able to do!
  • Yep. There is always hope. All you have to do is believe in yourself and work your little butt off!! You can do it!!
  • Is there any possiblity that you pursue some sort of Adult Education? I work in an adult education centre where we provide a variety of courses and classes such as mathematics, english, languages, childcare, IT. This is in the UK, I don't know where you live, but I think most countries provide the same sort of thing. I left school with hardly any qualifications and have had to work hard to eventually get a decent job doing something that I enjoy. But there is always hope, you must never give up. You may be poor and white but you are far from talentless or trash.
  • You think your education is F*cked up, I'm nearly fifteen, and still have a bit of trouble with long division. Don't sweat it, most of the things that you need an education for are no good anyway. Most of the things that matter don't really require one, I mean, look at some of the greatest mind in history, Albert Eitstein spent so much time flunking that he was thought to be retarded. And look at where he ended up. The best hope for 'Talentless poor white trash' is probably something artistic. If you can find *one* thing that you can do very well, you'll hardly ever even be asked to do anything else anyway. That's how I get by.
  • Ok, I'll bite. Who said you were talentless? As for hope, I'm not a big fan of it myself... I'm more into effort and planning. But to each their own.
  • The fact you realise your mistakes is a start . You can start to build from there.
  • You keep keening about your lack of talent but I am calling you out as a liar here and now! Besides the fact that everyone is good at something, you are a sharp-witted, intelligent, well-spoken woman. If you think you don't have talent, you just haven't looked hard enough. I also call into question your statement that your education has gone down the crapper. There is nothing that schools like better than to give scholarships, grants, and loans to poor white trash. I should know. I was poor white trash. Now I am educated poor white trash with $30,000 in student loans. Generalizations aside, why do you think you screwed up your whole education?
  • The past is the past. It no longer matters all that does is your thinking. Change your thinking from anything negative to positive. This is a process but as you do you can change all of your experiences, which by the way are all in the future, not the past. My recommendation This is the best book I've ever read. You Can Heal Your LIfe by Louise Hay http://www.louisehay.com/
  • you have no hope. if you live in a trailer court, there is even less hope. you wont go anywhere with your mental attitude. just more down.
  • yes you still have hope....just study more and you'll be on top of things.
