Yes, my son was like 10 and I had taken him to a clinic to get his shots for school and the attending nurse says to me this young man has a broken forearm and I was like what are you talking about and she did something to his arm with her fingers and you could actually hear the bones clicking and we took him to the E R and it was broken in 2 places. Just like you said no pain no swelling we had no idea. I suppose it is where you break it because my other son broke his arm nearer to the wrist area and he screamed and cried as if he were going to die and it was also broke in 2 places and took 2 surgeries to correct. Boys are hard to raise lol
i broke my foot a few years ago and didn't know it til i was getting xrayed for something else.
Yes, my son had broken his arm in a four wheeler accident & we had it casted & then several months later he broke his arm in a different spot. Well apparantly when he had the accident he had the big break & then a hairline fracture in another area but the doc failed to tell me this(probably thinking it would heal in time)but my son jumped a ditch in the dark not realizing he still had problem with his arm & so the crack went into a full break. Hey Teresa I didnt realize you were up there above me! How's it going?

You're reading I just found out my son has had a fractured humerus bone that healed without me knowing until he just broke it again today. Has anyone else had a broken bone (or their child) and not known it was broken? No pain, swelling, bruising...no symptoms at all!!!
