  • As a sometime writing teacher, i will say that to do any one of them poorly is equally easy. To do them well, i believe the short story is easiest and the play the hardest. Generally, prose is easier than poetry which is easier than dialogue with stage directions. Others may disagree. This is my own opinion.
  • I think the easiest to do Well is a poem And the hardest to do Well is a play But short stories are tha most fun to read :D Hahaa
  • For me it would be a poem. Plays take a bit of technical jargon and short stories take a certain amount of outlining, but I can jot a poem like nobody's business.
  • Based from my experience as a freelance writer, poems are the easiest to write followed by a short story then a play. With poems, words and ideas can just flow smoothly. With short stories and play, you have to think of the plot, the setting, the characters, the ending a whole bunch of elements.
  • it depends intirely on the person! you could have someone like me that loves to write, but is really bad at it, and thinks poems are ok, but mostly boring, yet i am aparently really good at that! it just depends what you are interested in and how you like to express your feelings. everyone is amazing at something, it just depends what it is, they just have to find it, so experiment with as much as you can, until you find something that you find easy to write. then again sayin that, easy isnt always the best. you could find it easy to write a play, but it could be utter crap! get it?? =)
  • Poem. Definately. Doesn't nearly take as much preplanning :p
