The way you word that question... no. ----- Define Noble: Having honourable qualities; having moral eminence and freedom from anything petty, mean or dubious in conduct and character. I do think it is noble to fight for what you believe in. Likewise, if that fight is for the survival or freedom of your people, yes - that would be noble (IMO). [Edit: Added definition]

No. It is a sick and perverted thing to do. Anybody who answers "yes" to this should consider that the suicide bombers who hijacked the planes on 9/11, and the guards who assisted in the Holocaust, undoubtedly considered themselves to be noble and brave warriors.

There is nothing noble about blood and guts, the nobility is in the bravery of ALL the men that have to fight and die. A lot for something they have no knowledge of or no definate belief in the action

The only thing noble is the loyalty and comradeship among the troops themselves! The wars and the rich industrialists/politicians who start them are utter shit!
