  • I don't know what to make of it now. I might flag less because knowing the moderators, they won't agree with my flags.
  • I think they are allowing alot lately, I dont get it. Things they used to accept as flags, they dont anymore. Maybe its to keep the masses.
  • i know what you mean.i'm getting tired of the "i'm 10 and want smoke meth and get pregnant.do you think this is good idea?"or "i've got a large caliber bullet hole in my chest.should i go to the hospital?"if something is truly nonsense i'll flag it.
  • I've flagged duplicates where the same person accidentally submitted the exact same question twice within minutes, and had the flag not acted on. WHat gives. How duplicate can you get? Also seen some really bizarre micro categories showing up.
  • I guess they must have new staff.
  • Beats me. Something fishy has been going on though. Seems to me like they might be testing some new code, and maybe that is why it is so glitchy. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/1228594
  • I think it became a scheme for heavy moderators. When you build up all these subcategories, there is a ton of moving to do. . .
  • No, it totally depends upon the popularity and frequent use of a category!
  • Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you but I do agree with you 100%. Drives me nuts. Good question by the way.
  • It's just like the headlines on news papers and mags they use what people like. Kind of scary! But it's true! I have thought the same thing!!!!
  • Because we're a lot of useless idiots. Welcome :)
  • I agree. There are way too many stupid subcategories out there!!! And also whenever i flag a duplicate it just gets rejected but they are nearly identical.i flaged one that said if you have a shower or bath in the morning for the exact same one but no....:(
  • Many times I've sent request to the staff, but it just depends on whether if they like it. I also have experianced what Jim had said already about flagging a q and then the user has sent the same one in less than 2 minutes.
