  • Right now as I type my system idel process is running at about 95%. All that really says is i'm not using 95% of my processor capacity. It doesn't mean that the process is really "using" it, it just means that the computer has allocated it to that process. Watching videos is actually not a very processor intensive thing now days. A good portion of the decoding and just work in general has been pushed off your main processor and onto your video card (which has it's own processor). It's really nothing to worry about (Your system being idle), now if the opposite was occurring, if your system was never showing high idle process when you weren't doing anything, that's a problem and usually a good sign you *may* have a virus. There can be other reasons other than a virus.
